Skint is not financial advice. Skint helps you track spending and budgets; it does not provide regulated financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.
By downloading or using Skint, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
We provide Skint “as is”. We try to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that calculations will always be error-free. Always double-check important numbers outside the app if they matter for tax, contracts, or compliance.
Skint is a local-only app. There are no Skint accounts to create or maintain — all of your data lives on your device. Keep your device secured (passcode, Face ID or Touch ID) and we recommend enabling Skint’s in-app biometric lock from Settings if you want an extra layer.
Pro features are unlocked via a one-time, non-consumable purchase through Apple — pay once, yours forever (subject to your Apple ID remaining in good standing with the App Store). Payments and refunds are governed by Apple’s terms. We may add or change Pro features over time; material changes will be reflected in the app or on our website where practical.
You will not misuse Skint — for example, by attempting to break security, overload our systems, scrape data you should not access, or use the app for anything unlawful. We may suspend access if we reasonably need to protect the service or other users.
Skint, its branding, and its content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app in line with these terms and the App Store rules.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Skint. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
You may stop using Skint at any time. We may stop providing the service or change it where we have a good reason (for example, legal requirements). Provisions that should survive (such as liability limits where allowed) will survive.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
